• Crypto asset prices can rise or fall sharply and quickly. You can lose all of the money you put in.

Crypto assets have no central bank, no guaranteed value and often no underlying cash flows. Their prices are driven by supply, demand and sentiment, and have fallen by more than 70% within months in the past. Past performance is not a guide to future returns. We never promise or project returns.

Markets trade around the clock, including weekends and holidays, so prices can move a long way while you are not watching. There are no trading halts or circuit breakers of the kind used on stock exchanges.

Crypto assets are not legal tender in most countries. Balances held with us are not bank deposits. They are not covered by deposit insurance or by any government compensation scheme if Croleo, our custodian or a payment partner fails.

Croleo is not yet licensed or registered as a virtual asset service provider in any jurisdiction. Services are not offered in sanctioned countries, and availability depends on local rules. A licence or registration, where we obtain one, would not mean that crypto assets are regulated or protected like securities or deposits.

Governments and regulators may change tax rules, restrict some assets or services, or require us to change how we operate in a country. That could affect the value of your assets or your ability to trade or withdraw, and we may have to suspend or end a service where you live.

• Some markets, especially USDC pairs and smaller assets, can have few buyers or sellers. You may not be able to sell quickly, or only at a much lower price.
• A market order fills at the best prices available at that moment, which can be worse than the last price you saw (slippage).
• A stop-limit order becomes a limit order when the stop price is reached. In a fast market it may fill only in part, or not at all.
• Prices on other platforms can differ from ours.

Stablecoins such as USDT and USDC aim to hold a value of one US dollar, but they are issued by private companies and can lose that peg, sometimes sharply. Their value depends on the issuer's reserves and on its ability and willingness to redeem them. If you spend or report in another currency, you are also exposed to exchange-rate movements against the US dollar.

We use a regulated custodian, keep most assets in cold storage and check every withdrawal, but no system is free of risk. A cyber attack, an error, a failure at our custodian or a payment partner, or an outage at our end could cause delays or losses. During maintenance or heavy load you may not be able to place or cancel orders.

• Transfers are final. We cannot reverse a withdrawal sent to the wrong address, or recover a deposit sent on an unsupported network.
• Some networks need a memo or tag. Missing it can delay or lose a deposit.
• Congestion can delay deposits and withdrawals and raise network fees.
• Forks, protocol bugs or attacks on a network can change or destroy the value of an asset, and we may not support every resulting asset.

Tax rules for crypto differ from country to country and can change. You may owe tax on gains, and some countries also tax each sale or swap. We do not deduct tax for you, and we do not give tax advice: speak to a qualified adviser where you live.

Scammers pose as exchanges, support staff, regulators, romantic partners or investment groups. Croleo will never ask for your passkey, sign-in codes or recovery details, never ask you to move funds to a "safe" wallet and never promise returns. Every genuine email from us shows your anti-phishing code.
