Product updates, availability, maintenance windows and policy changes, newest first.
Service problems right now are on the status page.
Markets, order books and orders now run on the Croleo exchange engine, with test funds that are not real money.
Today we are opening the public beta of Croleo. Prices, order books and trades come from our exchange engine, and orders you place match against other orders on the book. Every balance is a test fund: sign up and use Get test funds to try trading.
Tell us what is confusing or missing. Every message to support is read by the team building the product.
Croleo will take customers from every country except those under comprehensive sanctions. We do not hold any licence yet.
Croleo is a global exchange. When we launch, customers can sign up from any country except those under comprehensive sanctions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
Croleo is not yet licensed or registered as a virtual asset service provider in any jurisdiction. Availability of each service depends on local rules, and we will publish each licence or registration once it is granted.
When you sign up, we ask for your country of residence and check your address during identity verification. Anyone in a sanctioned country or region is told we cannot open an account for them.
No passwords. Sign in with a code, Google, Apple or a passkey; withdrawals need a passkey, which cannot be phished or SIM-swapped.
Croleo accounts have no password. You can sign in with an email or SMS code, Google, Apple or a passkey, and you approve every withdrawal with a passkey: a key pair stored on your phone, laptop or security key and unlocked with your fingerprint, face or device PIN.
We recommend adding at least two passkeys, for example your phone and a laptop, so losing one device does not lock you out.
Every market is quoted in a US dollar stablecoin. Here is the starting list.
Every listed asset trades against USDT. The largest assets also trade against USDC.
BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, SOL/USDT, XRP/USDT, ADA/USDT, DOGE/USDT, TRX/USDT, AVAX/USDT, LINK/USDT, DOT/USDT, LTC/USDT, TON/USDT
BTC/USDC, ETH/USDC, SOL/USDC
USDC markets are usually thinner than USDT markets, so check the order book before placing a large market order.
Each snapshot will cover both sides: what customers hold, proven with a Merkle tree, and what the custodian holds.
A reserve report that only lists wallet balances does not show whether an exchange owes more than it holds. Ours will prove both sides, asset by asset.
REST and WebSocket endpoints for market data, orders and balances. API keys can never withdraw.
We have published a first draft of the public API: market data, order book, trades and candles, plus signed endpoints to place and cancel orders and read balances and fills.
Keys have two scopes, read and trade. There is no withdrawal scope at all, so a leaked key cannot move funds out of an account.
At least 72 hours' notice, a fixed window, and open orders kept unless we say otherwise.
