Maker and taker fees explained
Orders that rest on the book pay the lower maker fee; orders that fill straight away pay the taker fee.
A maker order adds liquidity: it waits on the order book, like a buy limit below the current price. A taker order removes liquidity: it matches an existing order, like any market order.
Volume tiers depend on your spot volume over the last 30 days and apply from launch; during the public beta every market charges the rate the exchange engine lists for it. Fees are charged in the market's quote currency and shown on every fill.
