What the public beta means: test funds
Markets, order books and orders run on the exchange engine; every balance is a test fund, not real money.
Until Croleo launches, the site runs as a public beta. Prices, order books and trades come from the exchange engine, and your orders really match against other orders. Balances are test funds: once signed in, you can add them with Get test funds.
- Test funds are not real money: they have no value and cannot be paid out. Crypto deposits and withdrawals open at launch.
- Before a market has traded, its price shows “–” and its order book may be empty.
- Each market charges exactly the fees the engine lists for it, so you can see their effect.
